Carers Allowance in light of Harpur Trust v Brazel

Sorry if I am repeating other posts, but the above supreme court case has made employers calculate holiday pay differently and to the advantage of Term Time only workers and Zero Hour workers.

This could lead people who are on the cusp of the £132 per week income from “gainful employment” going over, losing their entitlement to Carers Allowance and having an overpayment if they do not realise.

It might be worth people working with carers publicising this. I am a carer in this situation myself and will have to increase my pension contributions to bring me under the £132 per week rule.
