Income support appeal won, now reinstate IS?
Hi All
Quick question for a colleague. If a claimant appeals a decision to close an Income support claim and wins. Should income support be reinstated or will they need to claim UC?
Provided they still meet the entitlement conditions (and haven’t already claimed UC), yes.
EDIT: otherwise IS will be reinstated until the date entitlement ended.
