Hello
We have allocations officers that are looking towards the size restriction imposition on RSL tenants in April 2013.
They are worried that, for example, if a current tenant has a 2 bedroom property but only utilises the second bedroom for occasional visits from children that live with another parent, will they be subjected to the restriction?
Could you also clarify the situation with reference to the allowance for a room used by a ‘carer’? What is the qualification re:- being classified as a carer?
Finally, will there be any transitional protection for existing tenants, in terms of the size restriction or will it be enacted from the effective date of imposition?
Many Thanks
