Housing Benefit AND mortgage costs

Feeling a bit dim today folks so bear with me on this one as the answer is probably staring me in the face.
I have a client who owns a property but is moving into social housing due to health problems.
She currently is in receipt of income support so is currently getting help with her mortgage interest.
She has her house up for sale and i know the value of this will be disregarded as capital for 6 months ref her Income support, however can she claim HB on her new property and still get help with mortgage costs until her home is sold at the same time?
