Recovery of overpayment.
I helped tenant request a bcakdtaed claim for ESA. This was awarded but a large overpayment was deducted from it. Tenant was notified that before arrears were paid any overpayments would be looked at. When i managed to get through to DWP overpayment had already been deducted . Is this correct?
Tenant did not appeal . Thanks
