UC and prisoner

HI can anyone give any advice please- client was getting UC, PIP ERDL and ERM but still waiting for his UC WCA (over 13 months delay so far ) when he was sentenced to approximately 9 weeks in prison. He has lost his tenancy so no ongoing housing costs to claim now with the UC. What happens to that WCA and all those potential arrears (Id be amazed if he didn’t gain an award of LCWRA )- does the claim get fully closed down and he has to make a brand new claim or is he in effect re-opening that one when he comes out of prison?
