Morning.

Think we know what the answer is but checking as claimant has had different advice from local authority.

UC claimant, temporary move to refuge (fleeing violence, intends to return). Should they change the address to refuge address or keep normal address and note on journal about where temporarily staying?
If either, which option is likely to cause less confusion/ fewer problems?

Would the advice be different if they’d not been on benefits but move to refuge means they have to put in a fresh claim for UC? Would putting refuge address mean problems with rent verification for normal home? (Housing association)

Thanks
