Hi all,

Clt coming in for foodbank vouchers.  Single person with 40% fraud o/p deduction from his JSA leaving him £43.50 per week to live off.  HB o/p deduction of £18.75 p/w leaves him under £25 p/w to live off if he covers the shortfall in the rent.

Has anyone had any recent experience of negotiating the recovery rate for an o/p classified as fraud? I know there was guidance which was explicit that it could be negotiated where the debtors home was at risk but I can’t find anything up to date.

I’d be very grateful if anyone has the latest guidance before I call them and get a “computer says no” approach…. well that’s if we can even get through!

Thanks in advance
