Updated index of deprivation data by neighbourhood for Wales
The Welsh Government’s official measure of relative deprivation by neighbourhood in Wales has been updated (last full release was in 2014) - data relates to eight measures of deprivation including:
- income: percentage of population in income deprivation (in receipt of income-related benefits and tax credits);
- employement: percentage of working-age population in receipt of employment-related benefits; and
- housing : proportion of people living in overcrowded households and a new modelled indicator on poor quality housing.
