PIP Renewal

Client PIP ends FEB 2020 and they haven’t attended orthopaedic consultant for 2 years.

Had an operation to remove a plate from knee after having an osteotomy of Tibia, client caught an infection which left client with osteomyelitis, this has left consultant wary on another op as he had stated that if infection returns there is a risk of leg being amputated.

is it advisable for client to make app with consultant as I think I’ve read this would be detrimental to the renewal if no current hospital information.

No change in symptoms mediation etc..
