Epilepsy Scotland

Epilepsy Scotland has been campaigning about the way people with epilepsy are assessed for PIP. We found that of those who previously received DLA 54% were denied on transfer to PIP, 65% of new claims were also denied. This is the second highest refusal rate out of all health conditions and double the national average.

We are asking the UK Government to review how people with epilepsy are assessed for PIP to make it fairer.
