It is a perennial bugbear of mine that the minister of state is a statutory safeguarding partner and is the singularly most unhelpful and dangerous part of my job.


Edit: I should add that I have heard 1 referral to us; a Work Coach raised a safeguarding concern with their safeguarding officer who passed it on to us.

I’ve been in this job for nearly 7 years now. I have seen hundreds of safeguarding concerns that JCP could have anticipated.
