Simple question but can’t find answer written down anywhere!
Couples claim for ib ESA, partner dies will this force claim for UC or can ESA claim be adjusted as change of circs

There is no such thing as a couples claim for ESA.

One member of the couple will be the claimant and the other will be the partner. If the claimant has died then the claim ends - if the partner has died, then the claim doesn’t end.

You are right…the claim is her name so that’s good news (UC wise)
