FOI response seeking clarification of order of migration

FOI request asks -

1. How are households selected to be moved to UC? I.e. are households selected at random or are they transferred according to the benefits they claim?

2. Will the transfer of existing households be based on their geological location (e.g. postcode or constituency) or based on which benefit group they belong to?

3. In which order will the seven benefit groups be migrated to UC? I.e. which group(s) will be transferred early and which group(s) will be transferred later?

4. Your report indicates that certain groups may be more complex to migration (WTC+CTC) than others (JSA), will this have any impact on the order by which households will be required to migrate to UC?

5. Specifically about Tax Credits, which of the groups will be migrated first; a) WTC only, b) WTC+CTC less than 2 children, c) WTC+CTC 3+ children, d) WTC+CTC 3+ children with DLA and Carer’s Allowance, or will the system make no distinction between these households?

6. If none of the above methods is used to identify the sequence of households that will be migrated, which other methods/proposals are currently being considered?
