Does anyone have copies of the - “The DWP a list of circumstances in which a referral is appropriate or the DWP Visiting Referral Tool” ?

These were both highlighted in recent posts and information on claimants with complex needs.

Daphne, was this issue raised at the stakeholders meeting?

Hi Keith

There’s the very short guidance on home visits which is in the House of Commons Library - don’t know if it’s much help.

Home visits were raised when we talked about complex needs claimants. DWP said they were promoting the role of home visits. I did raise that in some areas it did not seem easy to arrange them or that there were not sufficient resources and they said any issues should be raised via the third party escalation process - see attached

That’s interesting, I don’t have a great deal of faith in this working at a local level. I will no doubt be quoting this in the near future.
