RTI earnings disputes submitted to HMRC by UC claimants since January 2016
Answering an FOI review request about how many cases have been submitted to the ‘Jointly Managed Engagement Team’ for RTI by claimants disputing their UC award, the FOI response says -
‘Between January 2016 and February 2018, DWP passed 10,698 cases, where the claimant disputed the earnings reported through RTI, to the Jointly Managed Engagement Team, for HMRC to clarify earnings with employers.’
