Case studies wanted where claimant has had long wait for initial payment or unfair sanctions

Nine Lives Media are making a current affairs documentary about Universal Credit.  It comes in the wake of the Government’s Autumn announcement that they were introducing a ‘balanced package of improvements’ designed to address some of the systems most obvious flaws.

The programme will explore whether these changes will make or are making any difference.

Nine Lives Media are looking for case studies and are particularly interested in talking to people who have had a long initial waiting period for their UC payment (including cases who have had their claim closed) or who have been sanctioned unfairly.
