Benefit inspired NINO applications

Hi,

My client has joined his wife on a refugee family reunion visa.

I made a new claim for JSA but then he was wrongly subjected to 3 month residence requirement by a rogue work coach at Marylebone JCP and told he could not claim. Challenged this - and he was then subjected to a HRT (although from what the client has said it does not sound like a full HRT; am presuming JCP have just asked him to confirm his documents to decide whether he should be subject). Am still waiting for a decision on this.

I have seen some outdated DMG guidance saying that STBA can be paid whilst NINO is being processed. Is there any way to speed up the application? Am not confident given the delay in the claim that NINO has even been applied for and/or processed?
