If a person has worked for the last 3 yrs and made all teh relevant contributions - if they become unemployed and can go for both IR and C based JSA - they are offered C Jsa ( as savings can be ignored etc) - however this person would loose out on passported benefits - can someone get the C based benefit with passported benefits as well? Would it not be unfair for someone to loose out on passported benefits e.g. Social fund just beacuse they have made all the correct Ni contributions? Any help is appreciated.
