has anyone got any tips on dealing with multiple sanctions, my client has had them for failing to do enough job search and failing to use universal job match, I am losing track of the number and length of the sanctions he hs as they seem to goon for ever

Good luck. I don’t think a 5-day good cause rule (but does not have to be good cause appeal) applies to JSA (yet) so I guess find the first sanction and ask them to look at that again first, then the next. If successful should have a positive knock on effect on subsequent ones.

Apologies, just noticed this is a UC post. Fortunately the 5-day good cause rule still does not apply, is now ‘good reason’. Some of the existing JSA good cause case law may still be relevant.

I could scan and email you the CPAG UC: Conditionality & Sanctions seminar pack from December 2016?
