PIP - activity 8 - reading and understanding signs, symbols and words

Apologies that I’m starting new threads for each activity, I thought it might make it easier for others to search for the info’ they need in future.

I’m still working on the MR for my client who has long-term depression. I’m arguing for 8c on the basis that he will not read his letters unless someone prompts him to do so.

8c: “Needs prompting to be able to read or understand complex written information.”

The argument for this descriptor seems very similar to that for Activity 10 - Making Budgeting Decisions, in this client’s case. Any comments on how your arguments differ for these two descriptors would be much appreciated.
