Universal Credit and DHP
I recently went to a joint meeting with DWP.
I asked them what sort of cases they would signpost back to the LA for help with the DHP as I was a trifle concerned that some work coaches etc might not have a grasp of housing type issues.
They offered to take it away and give it some thought.
Have any RN enthuisasts any ideas how this is working on the frontline.
Or even how it should be working?
Stockport Jobcentre has a worker from the council in the budgeting support role - I’m told that they identify and assist with applications for DPs and advises on STBA if not already picked up on.
Thanks I need to give this some thought. Not Easy.
