Hail all - these two subjects are mentioned elsewhere

We have now been given to understand that a ‘pack’ will be sent to claimants to explain that they have 21 days to request STBA and to tell them all sorts of other things about UC. We have asked for a copy of said pack. Of which I had not heard until today.

What happens if the ‘pack’ isn’t sent out by JC+ within 21 days was not something we could be told.

Also, as discussed previously, I can only see that this is a policy not a regulation, so it could be challenged, but I suppose only by JR or by shouting a lot (the latter is more my forte)

Linking to this - we were given to understand that the waiting days will not lead to a 6-week wait for payment but that payment will be made within the month-and-a-week, but will be a week ‘short’ to reflect the waiting days.

At first I thought aha - STBA for the ‘short’ week, but it’s a week of non-entitlement isn’t it? So the claimant is just stuck, but not for as long as feared.

Probably.
