am i right in thinking that most UC claimants wont be credited with a stamp that allows them to claim most contribution based benefits at a later date but only one that counts towards their state pension?

i am just trying to think through how UC might stop some of our clients from later getting for example conts based esa if their health were to get worse after having worked for a period of time which would normally qualify them.

have i misunderstood the way conts and UC will work?

And the 2 bereavement payments will end 2016, do we know if it will contribute to the 2016 new pension?
