One of my staff (who isn’t a welf) has just come off the phone to the DWP DLA line about a client who has been refused DLA.  She was told not to bother getting letters from the client’s GP or consultant as it wouldn’t make any difference to the outcome of the decision on the appeal.

Hallelujah, we can all retire because apparently the DWP will make the right decision first time every time.

My work here then, is obviously done.  I’ll put in for voluntary redundancy at once!
