The TUC are holding a web-based seminar on Monday afternoon on the Dilnot Report on the funding of social care.

Andrew Dilnot is the keynote speaker, followed by Peter Beresford (Brunel University) and Alison Roche (UNISON’s national officer for the care industry). The chair is Barbara Keeley MP – PPS to Ed Balls and a member of the Health Committee with a particular interest in social care.

The seminar is being held at Congress House (address below) from 12.30 to 2.00. Everyone is welcome to come to CH, and there is a sandwich lunch from 12.00 for those who do. But you can also follow on-line: the seminar will be live streamed on our blog: http://www.touchstoneblog.org.uk and you can send in questions and comments, either by e-mailing me or by Twitter, using the hashtag #TUClive

If you register (at http://www.tuc.org.uk/events/detail.cfm?event=3353) you will be sent a reminder just before the seminar starts.
