Workers Registration Scheme (deceased)

A8 national thought he had completed the 12 months under the old WRS. However it appears he changed jobs within the 12 months without informing the HO. Hence his request for permanent right to reside as been here 5 years working/Job-seeking legally has been refused.
I’m drawing a blank as to how to get around the ‘none compliance’ with the WRS. Will he have to wait a further 5 years (post May 2011 decision?)

Cheers Tom, Client is claiming JSA/CA (restricted hours etc) The plan had been to flip to IS/CA, but hey ho. I may carry on with the appeal and test whether they can be classed as a ‘worker’ under CA rules…..very long shot with a small gun!
