Failure to inform HMRC of PIP

Hi All

Got a client who has recently manage migrated herself over to UC while working FT. Previously, she was claiming TCs and then got PIP about 18 months ago. She never told tax credits about the PIP so never got the disabled worker element. Do you think there is any scope for late reporting to HMRC and therefore increase TPE?

Grateful for any thoughts.

Tax Credits will only backdate by 1 month, so if the UC claim was made within the last month, this can be done.

The managed migration regs actually state that TP should not be recalculated in this sort of case, but DWP have said that they will. See here:
