It has only just dawned on me how much the updating of benefits in April reduces the £120 transitional payments - I have had one client who has had them for about 5 months - now it’s down to just over £20!
Yes, I had a few I deliberately advised to wait until after the 10th to claim UC. For the rest of them it’s just a very sad message that: yes, everyone else’s benefits have increased 10%, but you only get a pittance of that because you get the TPE.
