DWP looking for claimant testers of PIP videos

DWP have been working on PIP information videos and are looking for potential claimants to test -

We are now at the final stage on the project, so we would like to invite a sample of the target audience, potential PIP claimants, to watch or listen to the videos and provide us with their direct feedback and are asking for your help in this.

The data and insight from audience testing will enable us to publish a meaningful, more relevant and user-friendly product that will be placed on our YouTube Channel and other outlets.

If possible, it would be an advantage to have a cross section of potential PIP customers, with different health conditions or disabilities and to include those with learning difficulties, visual impairment, physical disabilities etc.

This would allow us to evaluate how the product was perceived by customers with diverse needs, or who may need support to fully understand the content and also identify any sticking points in the video which may not be clear for those with little knowledge of PIP.

Essentially, we are interested to know if the scripts of the videos are easy for people to follow and understand.

Customer testers would be provided with a simple feedback paper to answer some basic questions after watching or listening to the video. We would then gather this insight and make adjustments to the videos pre-release if required and possible. 

We were hoping, as stakeholders who engage with cohorts of potential PIP claimants with varying needs, that you could help us with this testing and help us get these new videos over the line.

Basically, we would need you to have the facility to run the new videos past your customers if appropriate, for them to complete a very basic questionnaire and for you to return this to us.

More information, the videos and the short questionnaire would be provided to do this in the near future to those who are able and willing to help us.
