CPAG have an updated version of their free, online Debt Advice Handbook:

We’re pleased to announce that we are continuing to work with the Money and Pensions Service to keep our Debt Advice Handbook online.

The 14th edition is hosted on AskCPAG with open access - meaning it will be accessible to all, for free, from any computer or mobile device.

Our bestselling Debt Advice Handbook provides the most comprehensive information needed by advisers on the key stages of money advice, including on interviewing clients, establishing liability, maximising income, prioritising debts, preparing a financial statement, negotiating with creditors and dealing with bailiffs.

It also contains detailed information on the specific debts of students and self-employed people, and on how debts are enforced through the courts.

The new handbook is available at: https://askcpag.org.uk/publications/-237548/debt-advice-handbook-14th-edition
