I have had an email from a colleague who is looking for a welf to go to a jobcentre interview with a claimant, i’m afraid I don’t know what the interview is about or if it is an IUC or not but apparently the claimant has been invited to bring a representative with him.

Anyone in the Exeter area able to oblige?

When you say it is Exeter, can you tell us exactly where?  We cover a large part of South Devon including the South Hams, Teignbridge and Torbay districts which includes some EX postcodes.  We specialise in overpayment related enquiries, but if there’s an IUC we would ascertain whether the client was legally aided and see if we could get an accredited rep to go along.  The DWP can always be told to wait until someone can go along - which is okay unless they are looking at suspending the benefit.

Thanks for your kind offer, it soulds like just what is needed. As far as I know the claimant lives just outside Exeter, the person that enquired has not given me the full address but I will make further enquiries.
