Means-tested benefits and fuel poverty
With the exponential increases in domestic fuel costs currently being announced I wonder just how long the government can ignore the current levels of means-tested benefits. The States government in Guernsey is undertaking just such a review BEFORE modernising their benefits system system. No doubt this is the last thing on the minds of politicians in the UK, but I wonder just how much longer they will get away with it.
