Guidance for local authority staff who deliver services for young benefit claimants has been updated by the Department for Work and Pensions to reflect changes to the Connexions service from April 2011.

The document covers the three most commonly claimed benefts:

* jobseeker’s allowance
* income support
* employment support allowance

It covers Learning Focussed Interviews for 16 and 17 year olds amongst other issues.
