There have been quite a number of changes dribbling out during the Lords’ committee stage, and from some new papers, including:

No SMI for those in ‘full time work’
Earnings disregard changes
New disability elements
etc.  (see more at http://blog.cix.co.uk/gmorgan )

One reference by Lord Freud during yesterdays session however included “the illustrative draft regulations that we have sent out in recent weeks”  - has anyone seen these and could let me have a copy?

Draft UC ‘illustrative’ regulations attached (I hope!)
Let me know if there is any problem opening them
I’ve not gone through them in any detail yet, but would be interested to know any ‘illustrative responses’!.
Note exemptions to restrictions UC housing costs under Reg 18: Max 52 weeks
The inclusion of service charges in the UC cap will impact vulnerable people in supported housing where such costs can be high.
Happy reading!

The Scottish Government are considering the possible impact up here, and as part of that are consulting with stakeholders. Anything similar in Wales?
