I’m sure that this has been aired before but is there a shortage of interpreters in the Tribunal system? I recall some reports about difficulties in the Courts but it did not mention Tribunals.

We have an appellant who had a hearing adjourned in September 23 because there wasn’t a suitable interpreter available. It is now March and so far there is no sign of a date for a hearing which is clearly unacceptable.

Is this a widespread problem?
