ESA ended as in prison
Client in receipt of Income Based ESA. Award ended as was in prison. My understanding is he would now need to make an application for UC?
He says Job Centre have advised he can go back to ESA but I suspect this is incorrect.
Even if they incorrectly thought he was in receipt of Contribution ESA, he would now need to make a claim for UC for Housing Costs as can not make an application for Housing Benefit.
Have i missed something?
