UC joint claim - practicalities of reporting change and access to shared UC account
Hi all
This is a question about the practicalities of reporting a change when it involves a couple separating.
When partner 1 logs into UC and reports this change, do the accounts split immediately or is there anything partner 2/DWP has to do to verify the change on the system before the accounts split?
The context here is domestic violence and wanting to know at what point ex-partner loses access to journal messages etc.
