You can see Feeding Britan report here as well as evidence report, lots of recommendations around benefit delays, administration, sanctions, etc.

DWP are so keen to listen and learn from the cross-party report that they didn’t bother sending anyone from the department for the official launch this morning.

Today’s report chimes also with a lot of what we reported on recently about The road to the food bank is paved by failures in the safety net

I wonder whether this will stem the tory line that foodbanks are oversubscribed because they’re there?

It’s a sad time when a report like this laments the absence of the glue and shared values that once held our society together. Sadder still that that absence has been driven by a propaganda drive by a political movement.
