Cost of Living Payment (Pension Credit)

Hi,

Does anyone know if the ‘Cost of Living payment’ is paid to those on Savings Credit only or does it need to be Pension Credit Guarantee?

I had a look on DWP website and it just lists Pension Credit as a qualifying Benefit so I am hoping that this means the COL payment can be paid to my client in the autumn. Client qualifies for Pension Credit (Savings)

Many thanks,

Ryan

The entitlement conditions in the legislation just require that the person be receiving State Pension Credit so that certainly does appear to be the case, even though savings credit isn’t normally treated as a passport in other contexts.

Thank you very much for your response, I think it would be really harsh to exclude Savings Credit recipients so hopefully a COL payment is made in the Autumn.  I will advise accordingly!
