What are others’ experience of Right of Access Requests to the DWP, and response to complaints?

I submitted a RoAR/SAR in my client’s name in February and in spite of a chase up in May, warning of an official complaint, neither the client or I heard anything.  I sent a formal complaing (DWP complaints, Post Handling site B) a month ago - again, nil response.

The appropriate office to contact would be DWP’s data protection officer - by post or email (i’d strongly prefer the latter) at <data.protectionofficer@dwp.gov.uk>

See: https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/department-for-work-pensions/about/personal-information-charter

If that fails, you can complain to the ICO.
