Postal address for complaints about JC+ phoneline?
One of my colleagues experienced particularly poor service when phoning the Jobcentre Plus general enquiries number (i.e. 0800 169 0310) (basically rudeness, failure to recognise authority to act, ignorance of correct procedures, etc). But to whom should we complain, and how? The standard complaints procedure involves complaining initially to the office that dealt with the claim, but this doesn’t seem appropriate when the fault lies elsewhere.
Has anyone got experience of complaining about the phone service (successful or otherwise) or any other ideas/knowledge?
