New rightsnet subscription for ‘Activist Lawyers’

"Attacks on the integrity of the legal profession
undermine the rule of law”

We've been thinking of what we might do to support ‘activist lawyers’ following the recent attacks by the government on social media ... and we thought that one thing we could do would be to create a new ‘activist lawyer’ rightsnet subscription.

While a Home Office tweet on 26 August 2020 that accused activist lawyers of frustrating attempts to deport immigrants from the UK was subsequently deleted - with the department’s permanent secretary Matthew Rycroft vowing it would not be used again - on 3 September 2020 the Home Secretary tweeted that ‘Removals continue to be frustrated by activist lawyers’.

In response to the original tweet, Law Society president Simon Davis said that 'attacks on the integrity of the legal profession undermine the rule of law'.

To take out an activist lawyer subscription for 2020/2021 for just £36, all you need to do is –

The whole process should take just 3 or 4 minutes, and we’ll get straight back to you to confirm your access.

Hope that helps ... but do contact us if you have a question we can assist with. Oh, and do please share with colleagues.

Best wishes - Shawn
