IR ESA couple one dies

couple on IR ESA claimant dies, bother were in support group but the main claimant has died, cna the survivor continue on IR ESA or ?????

If they were both in the support group that implies that the partner of the ESA-ir claimant has had a WCA in their own right, presumably as part of contribution based ESA claim. Which would mean they could now get an income-related ESA top up and no need to claim UC. Unless they need to make a claim for housing costs and don’t have an existing HB claim in their name.
