Access to phones in jobcentres
While there are no longer customer access phones in Jobcentres, Priti Patel says in a written answer yesterday -
‘should a claimant need to use a telephone in connection with their claim or job search, they will be given access to a phone by their work coach’
Just in case any of your clients aren’t offered a phone…
Hah! (that was a hollow laugh).
Makes me wonder all the more why local JC sends claimants to us (on the basis that they can- apparently- use our phones whenever the need arises).
