just reported today.

and one can in any event envisage an NHS OT saying that a person cannot/should not have a wheelchair, but tribunal saying they can mobilise with one.

can just imagine local jobcentres stocking up on supplies of manual wheelchairs…not

Hmm, all a bit wooly in my view and it flirts with telling the SSWP what to do re Access to Work, which may be a bit ultra vires. No mention of the psychological effects of wheelchair use either, just the physical consequences, i.e. muscle wastage.

Maybe a good time to launch a social enterprise providing reconditioned wheelchairs to your local jobcentre…
