Apparently DLA/AA claims going to Bristol are now being forwarded to Blackpool for determination. This is presumably in preparation for PIP.

I’m representing Mr Pickwick at his appeal next week.  It is a far, far better thing that I do, than I have ever done; it is a far, far better rest that I go to than I have ever known.

The presenting officer will be Mr. Oliver Twist and his arguments will be sourced from the Old Curiosity Shop.

Request for ‘More’ from claimants will be referred to Mr. Bumble or Mr. Squeers.

Bit of a correction! It’s just the AAs going to Blackpool at the moment.

That must be to make room for the DLA claims from Sussex which used to go to Blackpool, but are now being sent to Bristol…..

Our DLA claims, which were Cardiff, moved briefly to Bristol, but are now winging their way to sunny Birmingham. Who knows where they’re actually being dealt with (or indeed IF they’re actually being dealt with!)

Here in Cambridgeshire we have been informed by the DWP that our new claims are now to go to 6 Disability Benefits Centres.

All AA cases go to Warbreck House Blackpool. Children’s DLA go to the Midlands DBC at Birmingham.

Depending on postcode, DLA for adults may be dealt with at Glasgow, Leeds, Bristol or Cardiff. So that simplifies things!
