Does anyone have any knowledge/info about whether there is a pilot area for Skype hearings and if there is whether you can give me any feedback at all?  I’d be really grateful.

Not in a specific pilot area I don’t think, but I had a PIP appeal for a client with severe agoraphobia who hadn’t left her home/street for about 10 years. She had the internet and her daughter was able to show her Skype, so we requested a Skype hearing. HMCTS did a Skype test call prior to the hearing date.
On the morning I got a call from client’s daughter explaining that the appeal was decided on the papers in the morning, so I can’t report back on how the hearing worked.

Bristol (Cardiff is our area’s HMCTS office).
