I am looking to hear about your experience of DWP prosecutions.

Claimant is being investigated for exceeding Permitted Work limit of £115.50 per week on average.

Claimant kept within the limit on average (as not working every week and work has an irregular pattern with no cycle) from last November 2015 to April 2016. Since then from April to now the claimant has exceeded the limit on average.

In your experience is the DWP likely to treat the earnings as averaged over the whole period from November 2015 to October 2016? Are there any useful cases where the period of averaging earnings been made on an April to March basis?

Which expenses have been allowed as deductible from earnings to reach a net figure.

Thanks folks
