Recording a work focused interview
Does anyone know if there is any legislation which prohibits a claimant from recording a work focused interview?
Thanks.
Not as such. The recording would likely be “personal data” within the meaning of the Data Protection Act 1998 and the claimant would have to comply with any of the requirements of that Act which applied to them.
The claimant would also have to be aware that attempting to overtly record the WFI without agreement or being discovered covertly recording it would probably be treated as a failure to comply.
